Chapter 01: Behold, they will do a new thing ~ 見よ、彼らは新しいことをする

The celebrations come to a close, the nights are long, the air is cold and two friends are excited about their new years resolutions.

祝賀会は終わり、夜は長く、空気は冷たく、二人の友人は新年の抱負に興奮しています。

Charlie resolves to read more books, Toast would like to eat more apples.

チャーリーはもっと本を読もうと決心し、トーストはもっとリンゴを食べます。

It sounds so simple, and at first it is easy. They are both so proud of themselves.

すごくシンプルに聞こえますし、最初は簡単です。二人ともとても誇りに思っています。

Until challenges arise...

課題が起こるまでは…

An apple is not enough to cheer up Toast after a rainy day and Charlie has been too busy to spend time reading. How quickly life accumulates.

雨の日のトーストを元気づけるにはリンゴだけでは足りません。チャーリーは読書をする時間もなく、忙しすぎます。人生はあっという間に積み重なっていきますね。

But do not dwell on the past.

しかし、過去にこだわらないでください。

A new thing can be small, and when done together, is the happiest of all.
